Artisans Market at City Farm Perth Saturday, June 28th 9am-2pm Come join us as we showcase: Local Artisans, Free Live Music, Craft Demonstrations, Organic Growers- Market, Children’s Activities, Food and More!! City Farm’s Artisans Markets are intended to encourage community involvement and promote urban renewal while contributing to the local economy by providing local artists with a venue to showcase and sell their work. Perth City Farm is an inner-city Organic and Permaculture demonstration garden and community resource centre. We are working towards environmental and community sustainability through a creative approach to the problems and opportunities of contemporary society. City Farm Perth Artisans Markets
City Farm Perth, a project of Men of the Trees, will be hosting Artisans Markets with the generous assistance of the City of Perth. Markets will be held at our site next to the Claisebrook Train station in East Perth from 9 to 3 pm. Upcoming market dates include 1 Dec, 8 Dec(coinciding with our annual Harvest Festival), 15 Dec and 22 Dec. The success of these markets will determine our future Artisans Markets schedule for 2008. Held in conjunction with our regular Saturday Organic Growers Markets, the Artisans Markets will feature live music performances, activities for children, craft worker demonstrations and tours of the farm. Scarborough Fair Markets
There is a large haberdashery and sewing section supplying souvenirs and arts and crafts needs. It is held at Scarborough Beach, Perth on Saturdays and Sunday from 9am to 5:30pm. |
