What can someone expect to learn in the first workshop?
My Course 1 will get you well on the way to achieving your goals with demonstrations, mixing and recipes for icings, making flowers, borders, clowns and ideas for making money at markets, your business or home.

Considering cake decorating is your work, what do you as a hobby?
I enjoy seeing other sweet art in all forms, so I love going to craft markets to see how creative other people are!

What benefits have you found the internet has for your business?
The internet has been an inspirational source of wealth for me and we all share our secrets and ideas in my classes.

Can you outline the typical process behind decorating something like the cake with fondant bows in your online gallery?
The fondant bows made in class are first rolled out with a small designer rolling pin that imprints little daisies, then the ends are glued with water and left to dry and hang on a round pvc pipe or similar.

How long would you typically spend working on a cake like that?
Decorating a cake with bows would take about 2 hours, most of the work on any cake is the preparation time for the decorations and in my classes you will learn how to do all these.
