What else do you like to do aside from scrapbooking?

I am a stay at home mum to 5 children ranging from 2 to 11. If I’m not looking after the house, or something with or for the family, then I am Scrapbooking or working on the site.

What kind of workspace do you have?

I’m a bit spread out at the moment as we are renovating in our house. My desk and main stuff is in our family room, and my craft stuff is spread out in 2 other rooms downstairs.

If you could change it, what would you do?

I wouldn’t.

How much time per week do you spend scrapbooking?

Actually Scrapbooking? Not as much as Id like.

Is this Dad layout a page from an album or a separate piece for framing?

The Dad layout is from my Family Album.

Can you outline the typical process behind making something like the Dad layout?

The first thing I try to do is work out a theme, or colours, and then the kinds of embellishments I may want to include.

How long do you think it took to finish that?

I tend to start my work, and then come back to it in a little while with a fresh look. I would say it took a couple of hours over 3 days.

What benefits have you found the internet has for your craft and your business?

There are so many resources out there. I am always researching for my business.

What basic materials, and/ or tools, would someone need to buy to get started in scrapbooking as a hobby?

A hobby knife or paper trimmer, Acid Free Glue, and a couple of sheets of cardstock and patterned paper will definitely get you started!

What are two craft tools that you could not live without?

My glue and hobby knife.

Are there any business problems that you consider are unique to an art or craft business?

Supplying up to date products.

You have an online scrapbooking store; do you also have a physical shop as well?

Yes we do.

Can you describe the product range you have available online?

Our range is primarily craft related at the moment. We have gradually been adding more Scrapbooking specific product.
